Stamina regen in mistlands during a storm with ticks........
Stamina regen in mistlands during a storm with ticks is so frustrating as it's so damn slow to regenerate. Potions have a 1 minute cool down. Utter nonsense, why isn't stamina x boost not in the custom settings?

are you solution-oriented about this or are you still in the feelings stage?

Keep a Fire Staff on you and use an Eitr food, one blast can take out a few ticks that are on you. No stamina needed.

Lingering stamina potions are nice.

Drink a Tasty mead, 10 sec duration, 10 sec cooldown, walk like an egyptian.. err greydwarf, drink a health mead if needed - remember it can be used proactively as it boosts over time (a HOT to counter DOT).
Wet = -15% stamina regeneration
Lingering stamina mead = +25% stamina regeneration

and always remember;

Rested = +300% stamina regeneration

at least according to the wiki
https://valheim.fandom.com/wiki/Stamina
Potion cooldowns for separate for each
ex: drink a medium potion you get a cooldown for medium healing/stamina, but not for others
but alas, small inventory space

That's the Resting buff. Rested grants +100%.

I do not believe that is correct. All information I've seen indicates that if the effects overlap then the cooldown blocks use.

The wiki entry for Lingering Stamina Mead indicates that it blocks stamina meads - which is rather odd since you would think it would block Tasty mead. It may be an exception to the above?

PS: Just verified in game; All Stamina meads (including Lingering) block all Stamina meads for the cooldown duration. Tasty Mead does not count as a Stamina mead, neither do Health meads. Likewise any Health mead blocks all Health meads for the cooldown time.

Sadly though a lot of the ground in the mistlands isn't even and has a lot of inclines that suck your stamina fast, especially when you have 5-7 ticks trying to get you. However after 5 attempts of frustration I was able to take the flying testicle out and the remaining herd of ticks.

There are a lot of different things that can make life exciting in mistlands, and getting rid of ticks with low stamina is certainly one of them. The most recent thing to kill me was a two star seeker in an infested mine. I was rested and with good gear so didn't anticipate things to get that ugly. However despite it flying back and forth right in front of me it was impossible to hit with arrows. Had that issue happen before from time to time with range attacks, I feel there's a bit of room for improvement regarding hitboxes. Anyway I went to engage it in melee and the dang camera angle immediately turned into some kind of crazy close up zoom of a wall rendering me blind and incapable of doing anything. Such is life I guess. Best for me to take a few days away from the game, heh.

I stand corrected. Thank you.
yea i see all youtubers drink lingering stamina, doent it prevents stamina potion consumption while its active? and it give what? half second faster to fill up your stamina bar but when you are out you need to wait and if you are in trouble, die

Ooze bombs, or bile if you have them, are great for fighting ticks. I always carry a stack in ML. They require minimal stam to throw so you can save it all for rolling, blocking, kiting the ticks while in the AoE. Attack them with melee if obvious openings are there and you'll soon be rid of your tick problems. Tasty mead is very helpful here as well.

Holding block makes the ticks go weeee.

Step 1: Have 28 stamina
Step 2: Use demolisher
