Fir vs Beech wood?
When planting tree seeds for harvesting wood, is there actually a difference in these 2 trees?

They both give only regular wood, so the difference is just visual.

I haven't noticed a difference in terms of yield. I did notice that fir trees seem to leave much shorter stumps though, which are often impossible to remove without pickaxing around them.

Pickaxe a small pit
Plant them in a circle arround

Beech trees occasionally drop feathers.
Fir trees are the only ones that you can grow in the mountain biome.
Other than that, what Nhadir said :D

ahh ok, i find myself now shooting birds like mad when i see them for feathers.
so the main difference that really is to make note of is the biome growth and the chance for feathers on beach.

I would like to see them add pine needles to the game to be used as a lower tier poky thing to the deathsqueto needle thing, or drop a bit more wood since it is clearly a large tree that seems to have more hp.
