Character Clothing slots
Do you think it might be a good idea to move clothing items to a character slot to free up those 4 slots in inventory?

Yea I would love separate slots for equipped gear.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a tradeoff. You have to consider what is worth carrying and what isn't for the task at hand.

There was talk about an inventory extension being sold at the vendor, I'd take a separate window with my clothing iver it anyday.

Whilst I'm not overly happy with the limited squares ( Personally, weight isn't what bothers me ) - the clothing side of things does not make sense. Default characters are literal swimming costumes ( I'd assume nude if we were accurate ) which means everything is magically being carried in netherspace or the characters arms.

Wearing the clothing (Not including items that take a held slot) shouldn't take those slots as it's actually freeing up arm space / imaginary netherspace.

The 5 default worn slots
- Head
- Torso
- Legs
- Cape
- Belt
Should be an additional side bar that goes up/down next to the base inventory; with other items like Backpacks/Quivers adding rows downward if used.

if weight remains unchanged; we'll still be heavily limited in what we bring.

Plenty of threads about this, search paper doll, but I agree. You wear your armor/clothes on your body, you don't keep it in your pocket / backpack.

Totally agreeing: worn items are... "worn", so not into an "inventory" (or "backpack").

It's a trade off to wear clothes? Yes I must decide, should I wear my pants today or carry some more feathers? Decisions decisions.

The game reminds me a lot of Terraria, which does have separate slots for clothing and some items. It seems like a logical thing to add.

The idea would not be bad, in fact it sounds interesting

But would they just remove the available slots if they shift them off for clothing? Sure it would be nice to have extra slots but in terms of game "balance" or whatever you want to call it... wouldn't they be more inclined to remove them from inventory?

At least now we do have a choice to run around without a clothing item for more space.

There is a mod for that.
