How do I plant trees

I'm covered in seeds, and have no way to plant any trees. I can't survive with my friends deforesting the entire place, so I need help here.

Cultivator, which requires bronze. Cultivate some area and simply plant a seed by right-clicking.

If you want bronze early, visit a black forrest and hire a troll to destroy some copper & tin veins for you. They like to help :)

That reminds me, managed to get a troll to fight an abomination. Abomination won pretty easily although it had help from skellies.

You don’t need to change the land for trees, just plant them. Though it does look better cultivated.

First you need bronze and pine tree to make an cultivator. After that you equip the cultivator and open up the menu same as you do with the hammer when building. You will then see the option you have with the cultivator.
As told before you do not need to cultivate the ground to plant trees but you will much easier see where you have planted your trees if you do.

I was not clear, you have to have the cultivator equipped to plant trees, but you do not have to use it to prepare the ground as you have to for carrots etc.
