Can't dig under Ashlands tower??

OK, so for the first fort we defeated last week, we were able to dig down low enough to dig under the tower and come up from underneath.

Tonight we just finished a much HARDER fort.... but we dig down as far as we can go... but it's not low enough? We swing our picks and they still hit on the bottom of the tower wall?

Is this a normal thing?

I have had ones like that and we just push forward as we are swinging pickaxe. Eventhough we cant even see because of clipping the terrain should slowly dissapear. Might just have to use the battering ram on that one though..... You can also try building a portal at the wall facing inwards to maybe clip through.

Edit: I assume your talking about the inner small tower right?

You'll notice it says too hard but still gives DMG numbers. Takes a bit but you can pick through it. Alternatively if you go to the bottom, the last layer doesn't seem to get resisted with the "Too hard" message as the upper section above ground and a bit below does.

We only play as a group once per week. So, we only do the important things then. Don't want anybody to miss out.
