Vineberries bugged?
Did vineberries get bugged in a recent patch? None of my patches grow anymore and I have them planted in three different bases. They produced a ton in the beginning and now nothing after probably 20 hours of playing.

Mine still work. I get less than initially, but still gobs of them.

I'm having a similar issue. I've planted them for the first time and found some great ideas for a garden only to have the bushes grow, but no berries. At all. its been at least 10 in game days or more (I haven't kept that good of track) and 2 rl days. I'm getting nothing at home, but i can revisit some ruins and the respawn is almost instantaneous? (port home, drop ♥♥♥♥, port back kind of instantaneous)

I have them planted in four bases. My plains base is producing basically zero and I made sure there's no roofs or anything over them. The vines grow but produce nothing after the initial harvest. I did find some in both of meadows bases, but my Plains' and Ashlands' bases have stopped producing completely for about a week now and I play at least an hour every day.

Mine grow slowly too, with decent spacing, high walls, no overhead obstruction, the works and only occasionally get berries from them. Something is wrong with the way they grow.

I just keep going back to Ashlands vine ruins to get more if I need them now, faster that way. Even better with resource multipliers cranked up to 3x.

I've noticed the ones I planted in the Meadows are acting similarly, so they've become decor. The ones I planted at my Ashland base produce every 3 or so game days. I replant from time to time since Valks tend to damage the vines.

This has been an excellent suggestion from a lot of players since Ashlands came out.

Per the wiki[valheim.fandom.com] they have a very slow growth rate but the seeds are pretty prolific and I populated the walls of my asksvin breeding pen (currently only 0-star) so I can have their food readily available and still have a little left over for pies.

Planting in bulk does seem to help.

I have 6 plants growing around my building and then 3 plants on frames. That keeps me in vberries.

Man, we must be doing something wrong. I have around 30 planted and we keep running out for the two of us. I read the wiki carefully and followed all the instructions and tips carefully too.

For the people experiencing trouble, have you tried growing them on stone walls that are built fairly tall? like 20-30 meters? I have a castle in the meadows covered in them.

To be fair I have not checked it recently.

Be cool if bee's added to farming production speed.

Noticed that the planted berries seem to despawn randomly with no interactions. Logged in to 3 berries ready to harvest so I left them and was checking back and noticed only 1 was still there, 2 had disappeared with no evidence of loot or any outside interactions...

Something is definately happening...

I have a little ritual, every morning I fill up the shields then run around the building and collect all vineberries, smoke puffs and fiddleheads, whether I need them or not and stash. When there is a storm, I either go to Mist or Plains farms and make barleyflour, collect sap/grow mush or catch Anglerfish. When needed I go to the Mountain lodge for a while for freeze arrow ingr. Since those biomes don't need intensive foods I use third tier when I go there so I don't waste vineb or volture eggs.

It works like elsewhere, you have to be there for stuff to happen so sleeping where your berries grow is a must and they do grow better in Ashlands. (Just my observation)

I observed the same thing, so whenever I see them, I harvest.

That's what I do. Every game session I start by checking for berries and then normally check at the end of the session. Very odd. And we use weaker food when just doing chores around the base. Most of the recipes in Ashlands use the berries and most use multiple berries including many of the potions.
