Ashlands Update Broke World
Tried searching a few other discussions, but wanted to post this see if others had same issue and if it got fixed.

Long before Ashlands I created some basic bases and I read a few people who had large bases be destroyed so I was cautious and stored my main gear and went to explore.

Once I got throuh the portal was floating about 4' from ground and it was all water now near Black Forest, trees and rocks. Yet then something strange happened. The water level drastically dropped making all the trees float in the sky and then portal broke making the components sink and now I was in the water....

I got 2 more locations to check out!

Your world shouldn't be broken, just the regions around Ashlands. What you're seeing is what's happening anywhere near or in Ashlands:

they warned about this before ashlands went into testing.

your base was too close to unfinished biomes. building there was asking for trouble. devs warned players to move thier bases before the update. all they could do.

Prior to Mistlands I built a base in the middle of it on top a Mountain Biome and it was completely safe. This update moved entire Continent. Like where there was land it is all ocean now. Closest part is now the Queen Lair so I am gonna set sail and check out the rest

Can you go into more specifics on whats needed or how to do that exactly, ive heard it in passing that you can save your buildings and stuff, i know you need some mods (forget which ones) and hows it work exactly and what are the limitations, like i have a 50x50 stone square "castle" that's really tall, and also has basements and tunnels, and other stuff like that ive been working on a long time and id like to be able to save it and import it to a fresh world

what i cant really picture is how you create the zone/area that you'd like to copy, how it deals with terrain, and then how its able to be imported or fits on or in the new terrain

just wondering because you brought it up and ive seen you around seem very knowledgeable about the game in general so figured id take my chance but yeah if you could give me any insight on it, id greatly appreciate it

This video seems to address the issue. The "copy-paste" seems to work fine on smaller builds. I hope it help you with a big castle!
