Maypole AOE

All searches seem to be about how to build etc. Found one in the wild, how close to your bed does it need to be to work?

I think you need to be within 10m of a comfort related item for it to provide the effect.

Ended up building right next to it. First two times, when the game just came out, did not end well. I didn't like the location on the first so tore it down to rebuild in a better spot. Lesson learned. Next one I fenced in, put some hives around it, looked good. Then I dropped a tree on top of it.

Remember that distance works vertically too so if you have a house with 2 or more floors you can put stuff above and below.

It's been while since I have played, but the distance was nonexistent. I build my wall right up against it.

just smush all your comfort items into a second floor room above your kitchen, including "outdoor" items like maypole.

I build a village type of base, residence, warehouse, workshop, kitchen, armory &treasury buildings. Maybe a boathouse and dock.
