but a TLDR version is build from wood first as wood NEEDS to ONLY connect at two points unlike stone which when stacked CAN also connects at 8 points (please dont ask for me to explain) just try it
Build your wooden wall and then clad either side with stone )be careful when going up without wood framing) then recycle the wood when you are done GL HFun Skaal!
Above is a screenshot of the stone wall! I have raised the grown and try to put a wall around my base to keep the troll from destroying my base. For some reason it will not line up on this side of the base. Did something change or what I am not doing right? I have done this before and did not have this issue. Thanks guys for your suggestion, I will keep on trying!
Well, first you need to set the Visibility of that screenshot to Public (the dropdown to do so is in the infobox under the image), otherwise the rest of us just get an error.
You used the correct URL, you just need to make that one change.
It looks to me like the two are simply rotated 1/16th off from each other (building pieces can be rotated in 16 different directions, of course), though it's hard to know without seeing the entire wall from further out.
Okay, I can see how part of your wall is a half-meter higher/lower than the other part. The most likely event is that a wall piece snapped to the wrong snap-point or set itself at ground level some place where ground level was no longer the same.
Do a walk around your wall and pay close attention to how everything connects to each other. Try to find the other point where the same kind of thing as the screenshot is happening, assuming that you have a complete encirclement. You should be able to get an idea of what caused it to change altitudes.
The Charcoal Kiln needs to be move slightly so that you can form a right angle corner with the wall. The wall needs to be in a straight line, not at a slight angle to path around the kiln.
there is a 'pave it' texture you can do to dirt walls that looks quite good if done carefully, and gives you indestructible 'stone' walls that are a better perimeter. I mean, do what you will, but repairing that beast after a few raids is going to be a lot of clicking.
Can you expand on that? I am at the point I have to build walls for defence against troll raids and am struggling with how to do this and make it look good!
Also, how do you stop them from invading on the water side if you build seaside with a dock setup?
