Platforms to walk on Lava

I believe I saw a video with a player making a platforms to walk on a lava fields at the Ashlands.

I'he checked all the recipes at the workbenches but can't find any of that kind in a description. Anyone knows what was that platforms are?

They threw one of the new items onto the Lava, causing it to solidify for a short time, but it WILL disappear so keep an eye out. Look at one of Kysen's videos on it. Here's one he made about Ashlands, not sure if it has what you're looking for or not:
