Optimization
Hello, when the patch comes out for good optimization, I have good hardware, but your game wants the best, it looks like Fallout 76 is not optimized!!! think and optomize !!!!!!

I'm talking about the main version of optimization, there is no 15-20 fps on normal hardware, this is not the norm of games that are much more demanding and work better! Think about it!

I only launched the volcano and did not see any changes, I even turned everything down to zero and nothing changed, what do I really want to play with such lags

I play normal vanilla. Max settings. Recently I did change into vulkan. No lags at all, sometimes when there is world save.

Definitely post your hardware as I have relatively modest CPU and GPU and it runs fine. After a recent driver update from Nvidia my game went into slideshow mode. I had to make some changes in the nvidia settings and it was fine again. Someone probably has a link to recommending settings but they'd need to know your GPU type.

You have a CPU, that's 12 years old, with a terrible single core performance. We have the same graphic card, and I don't have any performance issues if I don't chose to build a city.

I play games more demanding than Walheim and it works very well, what is the problem of xs in the process

Hi there!
I have the same 16GB ram, 2070 gpu with a Ryzen 5 4500 and i just made a fresh world.
Me and my 2 friends started to build 3 houses, not enormous builds, but my fps around those builds drops to 27fps.
Does feel the same as 3 years ago, tho i had worse setup at that time. I am sad, i really wanna build...

Since you played, the performance has only gone up. Generally you should always check your CPU usage (shouldn't be near 100% in task manager) and the CPU/GPU max temperatures (HWiNFO program). If everything is ok with that, but performance is still bad, at least submit screens from your base, as it's nearly impossible to comment on what kind of performance you should be seeing, without seeing the base.

Thank you for your help and answer.
I am working with PCs about 23 years now, also gaming since.
My GPU temp is 57°C average and CPU is 45°C, using afterburner.
At my friend's build the currently max instances are 7945. After game restart the fps at that place is around 35-40. I will try to share screenshots of builds later as i can.

This game is CPU bound. You have a very weak CPU, it seems.

Yep, that CPU is ♥♥♥♥. This game needs strong single core performance.
