for YOU.
as for for the tc :
this game is totally playable and beatable in solo on default settings. you need some grinding tolerance AND way more importantly : you need PATIENCE above all else. valheim is a game where the gogogo mentality WILL kill you sooner or later. its a game thats supposed to be taken slowly and tactical. get overwhelmed? RUN AND BOOK IT.
this game is also a sandbox. so dont expect quests or stroytelling much. there is some lore and stones to read and thats about it.
base building is pretty much required. and bases have a use and purpose unlike most survival games.
if this sounds like something youll like get it. high chance you get addicted.
if you dislike what i just said this game is definitly not for you.
my biggest tip for you is to stay fed. food is super important in this game.
Agreed. i started 3 times in span of 6 months. you have to stick to it a bit to see whats going on later :) building small camps for beds also help ^^
That said, don't deny yourself the chance to play multiplayer if you've got others willing to play. The two expereiences, personally speaking, are pretty different and you kinda discover what you enjoy most about the game when others are there to take care of things you don't personally like spending time on.
It's slower (im new in the game, so it's more slower) but it's really fun, with people is just faster and easier, no more
I use the game wiki and vids on yt because for my poor brain some stuff is kinda hard to figure out (looking at you, spice-rack... :D)
