its not gonna get changed and its crafting stations are required to get the ashlands gear.
It's a beautiful biome. Sad to see it obscured most of the time.
All they needed was to apply the "Misty weather" they already had a touch more than it normally appears and the Area is great.
But Nuu extra Misty Mist with a side of Mist that the "Normal" mist ADDS to when it does come in.
Oh yes seriously idiots-ville that is!
So we're now years down the road a new Biome in the air and STILL this comes up?
When will the DEVS admit they got his Wrong. That inability to see something so obvious has seriously undercut my interest in the game in toto!
Stop trying to climb over every single obstacle and you'll have a better time in the mistlands.
hyperbole + false claims as mistlands only has rain and thunderstorm weather besides clear to begin with. fog doesnt happen in the biome at all.
https://valheim.fandom.com/wiki/Environment
when will you guys learn that the mist aint gonna if this is your idea of feedback.
Yep, this. It'll be a must-have from now on.
And he attacks Me for Hyperbole ROFL! According to the Wiki there are no clear days on the mountain either. (We'll ignore the 83% chance of snow and Blizzard shall we ?)
Hmm pretty sure most folks have had at least one of those as their quite striking.
Look I dislike arguments but here's my position in a different way in the interest of a fair discussion.
I turned off the mist.
I directly observed the weathers as described.
I turned on the mist and well I directly observed the weathers as I described.
#Shrug# I just cant be bothered to do it all again to "prove" myself or win and argument I just don't care that much.
The fact remains their is regular "mistlands is bad" posts months after it was released, does no one else think that's a bad sign or that the game design feature may be off centre even a little?
no. nobody thinks that aside a loud minority. the steam ratings still speak another language. if mistlands was as terrible as you lot claim then valheims ratings would have dropped down by ALOT. they didnt. speaks for itself.
regarding the wiki : its correct for the most part since a few very dedicated players on thier discord have updated it for years now.
the weather on the mountain is of course wrong. the numbers alone should tell that that table part is missing something. the other biomes are all on point tough.
mistlands aint gonna change anymore. until 1.0 youre pretty much out of luck on this subject. so these threads do nothing but spam.
the devs have said theyll look into MAYBE adding a better whisptorch option and maybe a whisplight upgrade down the line. but thats about it. they aint gonna remove a core mechanic of a biome because a part of the community doesnt like it.
i myself hate the swamp. it rains nonstop there. i hate that. its annoying to have the wet debuff constantly when outside there. but i dont try to demand this to be changed. i have to deal with it. you cannot make 8 different distinct biomes and then try to make EVERYONE like all these biomes. thats an impossible task by default. it wont work.
