Btw, Yagluth is your first real boss encounter. The previous ones are tutorials. Assuming you are doing it the normal way, you are not allowed to make a lot of mistakes at this fight as the boss keeps casting his abilities which have lasting effects and stack dmg.
Frost arrows are even doing more total damage and stay relevant for the entire game and also slow, while silver arrows are not really useful by the time you get them unless you just happen to have spare silver. The biggest downside of frost arrows is their lower staggering (only 4 over wood).
Not really, their larger size is a detriment as they shove each other out of the way and limit how many can pile on at once. They also move slower. The AOEs can knock them out before Yagluth goes down. When I tried it they got him down to about 1/3 health, which did make it easier to finish him off, but it's not instant overkill like the wolves do.
op was reiterating their point sarcastically. Stay on topic.
I am using the wolves to deal with goblin camps, man, those goblin camps are nightmare, in past I was pulling them near tar pits, but the bigger camps where no tar pit nearby, very troublesome.
Of course swamp comes before mountains, but that didn't stop people from trying. :) And no, bosses aren't a joke in this game. Try Yagluth solo.
To answer your question regarding the log. It is similar how you get into crypts in a no boss run. You place the chair really close to the bars of the door of the crypt and glitch through from the sitting position and pushing through.
It is possible to glitch into the indestructible walls of the sealed tower. The log is more powerful than the chair because you need a way out. There should be a video of this method if you look up: glitching into the sealed tower.
In short you dig down a bit so you are on the level of the loot room. Can find it via sonar with the sledge or staghammer with dmgnumbers popping up of the chests. You place a log which has two places to sit so you can get out with the glitch again. Dont get yourself stuck. You can get stuck if you mess up with the placement of the log.
I am not really sure if the door opens if you take the loot. I think it opens when you kill the miniboss. So you can kill the miniboss too if you have the patience and repairtools ready to slam through the wall for a long time.
Have fun with the cheese.
