No loot in Charred fortress tower.

This has happened twice and to me now.. once in group play and once solo. We crack open the tower inside the charred fortress and there is no chest and no bell fragment inside.

I noticed in both cases we used the Trollstav during the siege but then pulled back when it got dark and finished the next day.

My thinking is that the troll landing inside the fort smashed the stuff inside the tower some how.. probably with its landing impact and the stuff inside de-spawned before we finished the siege.

Has any one else run into this? any other ideas what might be causing this?

you are on point already. thats why you either finish the siege in 1 go or dont use trollstav. gems despawning is not good.

Did the fortress have a green beam shooting upwards beforehand?

I had a similar experience where i took a fortress and there were no bell fragments. I didnt use trollstav it was purely melee and i didnt leave or anything. I conquered and searched it in one day and there was no loot in the tower.....but there was no green beam going into the sky to begin with.

As for the chests, i have encountered fortresses with 1 chest and ive encountered them with 4 chests so maybe 0 chests is possible too.

Got same thing today. My first fortress and no loot and even no chests... wtf?
