wish you did not need every bench close to use items
I dont mind the concept of the benches but I hate the fact that you have to have the stone one close in order to be able to use stone. It would be great if you had to have a basic bench then if you have unlocked stone and its setup in a base somewhere you can just build in stone otherwise the base just ends up with tons of bneches all over the place. This is unless I am missing something obvious.

Or make the radius it can be used much bigger. I mean, I'm sure they have been paying attention to some of the structures players have been building. Huge, elaborate things.

It is quite irritating to have to make several, or several different types for building maybe one item.

I don't keep a stonecutting table out at all. When I want to build or edit stone I grab a couple iron bars from storage, set the cutter up, make the changes, and then break the cutter down again and put the iron bars back in storage.

A larger radius sounds like a good idea. Currently I deconstruct my stone cutting table and rebuild it near my current work. I look at it as it is a necessary tool needed to form stone.

I forgot to mention that lol. But he is absolutely right. I do that same thing sometimes too.

You can also build those benches permanently into your build. My newest base I did that with the stonecutter table. Built it into a wall.

I keep my stonecutter bench on display in my main workshop, but essentially this. I break down the bench and move it around whenever I need to do stone work.

i'd love to see the radius increase through the add ons. so, for example, if your stonecutter is near your forge it doubles the radius of the stone cutter, and if there's a grind wheel it's even bigger. something like that would be fantastic.

now that sounds like not a bad idea
