It is so not when you mess with the contrast and brightness of the image. :)
That's my guess. Some on reddit think it might be foreshadowing for a wolve boss in the deep north. You think there will be transformations. I think both are a stretch, but I guess time will tell.

Yea probably just setting them up a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if these caves had usual enemies and then the devs will add these cultists to the mix later on.
The left rock looks like humans bowing in worship to a huge wolf demi-god or something. The right looks like humans possibly morphing into Fenrings.
Looks good to me so far though
Who knows, but I think the runestones do depict humans transforming into Fenrings... the question is if we'll be able to transform as well.
I think with Viking history a werewolf is ostracized from society... so I doubt we would be in Odins favor if that happened.
Granted though, I am still learning about Viking history...
