yagluth spawn point moved far?
i have spent literal 100+days ingame finding his spawnpoint, unless its brutally far idk where to find it.

this is my second playthru because im missing a lot of stuff (like fenrir armor) on my first world and i noticed finding yagluth is .... really difficult.

it would be very helpful if any of you show me approx range of him from the spawnpoint or something

From most seeds that I've looked at maps of, Yagluth's spawns are usually pretty far out, as in close to or even within the mistlands ranges. They're not likely to be in the closer plains biomes.

It can be pretty much anywhere. Just sail the coasts of all the plains you can find and you'll find one. Theyre have a strong tendency to spawn in sight of the coast.
Pretty sure you havent spent 100 days sailing and looking, please dont exaggerate with the ridiculous idea that inflated numbers get you more attention or taken more seriously. This isnt Chinese manhua. (NB- never let the Chinese name anything in martial arts manhua. It never end well... :P )

Honestly the game is sometimes artificially difficult where it changes from "exploring the map" to "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when will I actually be able to progress." At this point, I'd just fight him using the same character on another world where I do know where his spawn is. 100 days spent searching is pretty messed up

explore every plains biome you see, not just from the coast https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198128698393/screenshot/2499005132373151498/

hardest to find, easiest to see from afar.
finding a veg stone is harder than finding the spot itself, but it does increase chances a little. Once in a while a furby village seems to have a stone too? Rare or misremembered?!

Cheat and look at your map online is an option, but if you want legit... you just have to troll all the plains in the central 1/2 of the map. Its unlikely you won't find it there, and there WILL be at least 3 of them on most maps... and its 'less likely' to be in the innermost part of the ring near spawn point. It can be, but playing the odds, I would sail 1/4 radius of the world out from center and start looking for plains you haven't yet poked.

Yeah those are often found near the coast (as you can see on the minimap) and look like this:

This was the first play through that I found a vegvisir for Yag instead of the five fingers protruding from the ground where one of his altars was.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I dont make any server setting easier but I have a hard limit of 2 playing sessions to find a boss before I look at the seed viewer. At some point the game is just wasting your time.
