And most likely an ocean update
That will be the official release version, after that we don't know. New portals to travel to another dimension or whatnut, new NPC's, new quests. Whatever it brings.
They've said multiple times that there will be an "end" after the deep north and that they will not be adding any DLC because they hate DLC.
That doesn't mean there will not be updates though. An Ocean update is still a possibility and there's been talk about even more boats. Beyond that though, it'll probably just be polish, but no expansion.
My guess is they will take a long break and start on a new game or even Valheim2.
They may not like DLC but nearly every game that wants to support their game after the 1.0 version has to sell DLC to pay the bills.
I hope they added at least 4 DLC but would settle for one or 2. I have 1,000s of hours in the game and would happily give them more money.
I know everyone feels that there should never be a DLC but that is just wrong as these people deserve to make a profit. There really is no PVP in the game so even content that changes my game does not really effect yours so always choose not to buy them.
Those are already in-game , but that game is called Deep Rock Galactic.
