they dont really blend in very well on the most part
and are they only buildable in June? So if we redesign our bases or they get smashed by trolls or whatever, we cant rebuild the maypole from July onwards?
Correct. The same is true for the Yule Tree which is only available during the months of December and January.
Might be able to set your date on your computer and make them?
Not sure about hammer mode because of the date restrictions (world settings from menu), but otherwise it's using the console to free build
BTW there is no reason not to put things like the maypole and yule tree on your roof or hidden
I wonder if they wil add something for spring and the Disting festival? Maybe a special Cultivator/scarecrow since it is start of the growing season? Or maybe a sacrificial alter so we can offer boars to Freyr and get a temporary sailing buff!!

Actually the more I thought about it........ I would love to see a sacfricial alter that if you sacrificed a boar it would work like a Vegvisir and "point" you to the trader. This makes sense lore wise if you read the article above. Scarifices were made to Freyr in spring to increase trade success. It would NOT make the trader visible on your map, just point your view to the closest one like the Vegvisir work in no map mode. Added bonus is it would really help in no map mode to find the trader during spring!
