Fortress but no Green Light Beam

I just found a fortress that has no green beam shooting out of the top of it. Has anyone else found something similar? And if so is it missing anything in terms of loot of it doesn’t have the green beam?

all fortresses have the green beam. so are you on a server? if so someone else might have plundered the fortress already.

non raided central towers always have bell fragmets. didnt see a single fortress on my ptb testworld which didnt have the green light and all fortresses use the same layout.

No I’m playing a solo server it definitely hasn’t been plundered, when I get up close I can see the Warriors and marksman walking on the walls and the warlock on top of the central tower. It is unspoilt but there is no green beam…

Hopefully someone has encountered this and can confirm if there is still loot inside.

the green beam is only for the bell parts to begin with. just clear it out and check.

its possible to plunder the tower without clearing out any enemies aside the 1 on top of the central tower with some cheesy stairway methods. tryed that yesterday just to see if its possible. but its not worth doing it this way as you still have to break trough the roof.

i have never heard nor seen a fortress without the green beam. might also just be a visual bug. if the bell parts are inside the tower still it is just visual bug.

I raided the fortress this morning and I can confirm there was nothing inside the inner tower except 2 molten cores.

So I guess when there’s no bell fragments there isn’t a green beam!

yeah the bell fragment is what makes the green beam it disappears once the bell fragment box gets destroyed by a player. but only 2 cores? no chest either? no boss marker? i have never heard of this before. can you post the seed please and show where this fortress is on the map? i wanna have a look at that. might be a bug the devs need to see.

There was a chest outside with 2 Bloodstones and 1 Iolite but nothing in the inner tower except the molten cores.

The seed is aLISwLUL4L

As for the location on the map, don't know how to post pictures here...wont paste in.

Chests look like they can be destroyed from outside and contents can be found outside of the walls of the inner keep sometimes. Had a fort with only 2 cores and nothing else also.
Edit- guess I found stuff from broken outer chest on one fort- no evidence of chests outer or inner on the previous but could have carpet bombed them out of existence and had them despawn.

I didn’t bomb anything I made a platform hopped the wall and killed the charred…and still didn’t find anything inside so I guess some forts just don’t have any bell fragments or anything besides molten cores inside the inner tower.

Glad to know someone else has encountered this and it’s a part of the game and not a bugged version of mine
