How to enable Fire Hazard on a dedicated server?
I started a dedicated server onG-Portal and I would like to turn on Fire Hazard modifier, but unlike other modiferies for difficulty etc. there is no option in the g-portal interface nor can't find any console command that corresponds to that.
It can be enabled if I create a world as host, but not for a dedicated server?

Well, when I list the keys i have running on my map with that modifier on, it shows up as just 'fire', so the console command to apply the modifier in-game would probably be 'setkey fire'.

This is the correct answer. If you cannot do this on a dedicated server (assuming, of course, that you've already added yourself as an admin in the backend), you may need the mod that adds admin commands.

(Addendum: I wonder if this is one of the world modifiers that can carry over if edited in a single-player setting?)

Thanks, but I don't get what "keys" you mean. Where/how do I find it? Is "setkey" a console command?

Yes, listkeys and setkey [insertkeyhere] are both dev/console commands you type into the console to view/activate

According to the official dedicated server guide, you're supposed to use the "-setkey" value (without quotes) in the "start_headless_server.bat" when it comes to making your own. Problem is...they list no value for that one at all. They do for the others though such as if you wanted to turn off the map, you'd write "-setkey nomap" for example.

Correct, and I'm having an issue using two -setkey(s). It seems to work, then ignores the other, or fails and I have to remove them and restart the server... :/

It seems very wonky. The official dedicated server info only offers nobuildcost, playerevents, passivemobs, and nomap as options, but in the single player worlds you get a ton of options and on the wiki they say you have a ton of options.

Does anyone have feedback on what works in dedicated servers? I've tried messing around with -setkey SkillGainRate 500 -setkey SkillReductionRate 0 on a dedicated server (default values are 100, and I hear the range is 0-5000; not sure because it's really hard to find official updated context).

Here are the global keys/modifiers (of what I could find):

Does anyone have experience modifying the bat file that produced positive results on a dedicated windows server?

If you need to make it so things don't catch fire on a dedicated server you use the "removekey" command instead of the "setkey command" and add it to your server start command.

-removekey fire
