Any alternative mods to "pull from containers" when crafting?
Fresh install. Got only smart containers other than this and it works. But pull from containers does not work. Are there any working alternatives to this? This is such a huge QoL update.

We use AzuCraftyBoxes. Works without any problems.

I don't know why every crafting game insists on this box nonsense. I wish games would simply have one, unified storage inventory that covers an entire base - boxes simply add capacity to that inventory. Realism be damned, there's not really a balance or fun justification for games asking you to spend 15 minutes every time just dealing with your storage system or searching for the thing you need or getting annoyed a friend didn't follow your exact organizational method. Mods like Smarter Containers are better than default but they too are still operating on the logic that anyone actually wants to mess with having items be in a specific box in a specific location.

Valheim already does away with a lot of annoyances and tedium of other survival crafting games that simply implement mechanics because it's "realistic" so I hope one day it has a better solution for this problem than wasting valuable playtime sorting icons in grids.

This is the only nuisance I currently have in the game. But it is extremely annoying. Usually I prefer to do my first playthrough without any mods, but I don't think I can manage this time. It drives me mad. It's so obvious that workbench should see all resources within "home radius" and use them if needed. Why isn't this feature in core game by now?..

Micromanaging all the chests can induce insanity. Modders be blessed.

Anyway i made it work after reinstall but seems a bit inconsistent.

well, for every trip of 15-20 mins outside base, there is almost the same amount of time managing inventory, making food. harvesting plants.

food and plants are no longer needed since I made for maybe 500 days, overstock of barley and many things.

I don't manage ressources for every trip anymore. there's a big chest in the middle to classify all at once every 10 trips.

only ressources not in overstock is gathering sap for major healing and royal jelly , always risky to fetch.
