If you have not, this is how you do it;
Open Steam. Go to your library and right-click on “Valheim”. Click on “Properties” and select “General”. You will see “Startup options”. Type - console and start Valheim. The [F5] key opens the Console when you're ingame, which you can use to enter admin and server commands. Press [Enter] to execute commands. Enter the command "env clear" and the fog will vanish.
For full list of commands, Google is your friend 😊
I even tried the autocomplete suggestions from the command box, and those did not work either.
You did not say whether you used F5 or not.
You have to hit F5 to open Console Window first, not in Chat Window.
Make sure when you type "devcommands" that it shows "True" so it is enabled then type "Env Clear"
Never fail for me.
I have always go by this
devcommands
debugmode
Env Clear
Good luck!
I did not know you had to activate devcommands while the dev console is already up.
Do commands work without debugmode? (so Devcommands > Env Clear... )
As long as -console is enabled, just follow what Icy so nicely explained.
"Devcommands" - enter
"Debugmode" - enter
"Env clear" - enter
Other commands that are used frequently for some when devcommands and debugmode are enabled is;
"God" - enter (makes you unkillable)
"Ghost" - enter (invisible)
"Tod 0.5" - enter (sets time of the day. 0 and 1 are both midnight. 0.5 is noon. So anything between can be used.
"Z" toggles flying on and off, "b" for no-cost crafing and building.
I could go on forever but Google is still a good friend for those who wanna explore the world of devcommands ❤
Oh also remember that if you use env clear that it'll lower the chance of sea serpents if you happen to be hunting them since they spawn more in storms and making the environment clear means no storms. If later you want to put the weather back to normal type in resetenv.
Devcommands > Env Clear will work.
Devcommands is for turning on/off access to advanced commands. Debugmode is just for turning on/off certain single-key power-commands in regular play ('z' to fly, 'b' for no-cost mode, 'k' to kill all, 'l' to get rid of all nearby drops) and requires devcommands to be on.
Will only be using Devcommands from now on, I dont want to ''cheat'' without needing to, and I certainly dont want to accidentally hit a button that activates one of those features :P
