Moder and frost resistance
I'm good on gearing towards fighting Moder.

I have raised the ground in couple of places to take cover from incoming attacks and have few portals scattered around the summoning altar but I'm still trying to figure something out; While fighting drakes, I have maybe noticed something. Taking a hit from them while wearing wolf cape, I'm slowed down for 5 seconds or something like that but if I'm running a frost resistance mead then that debuff does not occur.

Am I just delirious or is this something that really happens?
Does frost resistances stack?

I don't think you're crazy.

The "frost resist" aspect doesn't stack, but I think the mead has hidden buffs as well as the base frost resist that the capes and wolf armor don't provide. You seem to have stumbled upon one of them.

Another one, if you happen to be wet when you portal to the mountains, with a cape you'll still be freezing, where as with a mead you won't.

As a warning for Modor. Her frost attacks are drake frost breath on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crack. We're talking Quintuple the damage here. You absolutley are going to need a large health bar, level 3 Mountain armor (Either heavy or light), and frost resitance potions to prevent what is essentially a one shot. Other then that ? Poison arrows, with the best bow possible + your best melee weapon, rested bonus and the Bonus mass buff worked great for me. That combo will allow you to do good damage at range and get up close for continual damage up close.

Modor is easy.

All you need is a few rock piles to hide behind for the breaths.
Load yourself up with about 100 poison arrows and the fight is over by time you run out.

you can just sidewalk the breath attack. dont even need to dodge it. just WALK out of the way he aims at. unlike yag he cannot sweep this attack.

meads and gear resistences dont stack. the stronger one takes priority. (poisen only for now)
so if your armor has fire resist dont bother with mead and the same is true for frost resistence once you have frost resisetence on anything. thats why frost meads are nearly useless past getting wolf or higher tier cloaks.

Thanks for the encouraging words!

The oversized bat is done for!

I ate grilled wolf meat, sausages and honey. This kept me going, also consumed total of 3 health potions. Only few drakes decided to enter the battle but they were swiftly dealt with. Once got to a low point of having only 1 -one- HP left after fumbling a dodge. Rolled straight into my L-shaped raised barrier and she did a number one me.

Had gathered full stacks of flint arrow, iron ones, poison darts and fire arrows. Had also secondary bow to my drauger fang with me... and forgot that I had also stack of wooden arrows, guess which arrows I used most of the battle :steamfacepalm:

The battle lasted well into the night and didn't notice a difference between gulping down frost resistance meads or not but there were there for moral support.

Onwards to another adventures!
