Is there a way to turn off only specific raid events?
I like most of the raids, so I don't want to turn the feature off completely.
Stone walls and gates are enough to keep away trolls and goblin hordes. But bats are almost purpose built to go around all of the players defenses, and snipe thier vulnerable farm animals unless they're totally boxed in. This prevents me from living the male fantasy of having free range chicken roam around my base, because at any moment they could be snatched up by flying rats. So I'm forced to cram them in a cage where they can never see the light of day. Is there a way to turn off only the "You stirred the cauldron" event completely? Since it's impossible for them to hurt, let alone kill the player, their only purpose in the game is to be annoying.

Again, I only want to get rid of bats, without affecting the rest of the raids.
You can't turn off specific raids without mods or dev commands. (Drake raids end when you kill Moder, you can reset the killed a bat flag to stop bat raids) You can box in your tames completely while still being able to see them by putting iron grates over windows or using crystal to make actual windows.

If your tames live in your lodge where you have a camp fire or hearth, you'll have remove your chimney, build an attic 1 floor up that you don't use as living space, and vent your smoke up there where it will dissipate.

I often avoid going into mountain frost caves specifically not to trigger the bat raid. I agree the little buggers seem to find their way in through the smallest openings and clean up all living things inside. For me, I've just come to accept the occasional automatic butchering of my chickens which I was going to do at some point to get meat and feathers so I just make sure I always have extra eggs to start things over again. Now, it's the special multi-star pigs or wolves that I get really ticked off at losing.
