If you can, can you link me to some mods? I would like to see what kind of mods players are using. thanks!
Thats the link to the page that has them. I had a ton of them installed, but am currently moving everything to a new drive so I dont remember what ones I had lol. There are also some on nexus.com, but I have found thunderstore has more and they tend to be more up to date.
The procedural map means that your next playthrough will not be exactly the same. Resources might be easier or harder to get, your base location might be completely different. And you'll probably try out different strategies based on what you learned the first time around. The bosses are just stepping stones that unlock later content. (Moder especially. You can find workarounds for the others, but not that one.)
Unless you set all your map's world modifiers to the easiest settings and played all day ever day for a week.....
And/Or used admin commands.
And/Or used techniques, strats and vids by speed runners or similar knowledge
The likelihood that you'd beat all the bosses in a week is unlikely.
All that said then, replayability depends on the user. If you're a beat the bosses and be done with it sort of player, obviously, you're not going to be interested in replaying.
If you're a building and exploring and checking out different ways to do/improve play, then you may have more replayability than others.
All in all, its up to you.
When you start a new game you will play on a different world map unless you deliberately use the same seed to create the world. The world is large and most players will spend many hours exploring the map.
It is a survival game where many players enjoy hours of time exploring, gathering resources, crafting and building. Combat is only part of the game.
There are youtube videos where players do speed runs that kill all the bosses in a few hours. It is combat and exploration focused. You might prefer this style of play.
There are world modifiers that you can customise the world to suit your personal preferences and have a different experience when playing a new game.
