Yeah, i mean after EA. Although there are EA games on gog also. Gog is filled with great indie games that have no DRM. Seems like a good fit. And as far as i know theres only one biome left after ashlands and its release time. So perhaps next year at the earliest...?
Cyberpunk is on GOG, can we also not put games not made out of steam on Steam?
Top of my head
Baldur's Gate 3
Shadow Warrior series
No Mans Sky
Cult of the Lamb
All popular titles that got a day 1 GOG release
Most games that come to GOG get a day 1 or month 1 release, unfortunately we do often have to wait years for big publisher AAA games to come to GOG. But thats mostly due to delusions the DRM equals more sales.
Not likely at this point unless the studio and publisher for Valheim change their minds.
No the devs have not mentioned anything concerning this.
Whether you think its a good fit or not isnt necessarily relevant contextually as the decision is up to Irongate/Coffee Stain.
And unfortunately "Radio Silence" it pretty much normal for devs/pubs. I've even had devs reply to "Is this coming to GOG?" with "No plans yet", only for the game to come out less than a week later!
I suspect there's some NDA type thing going on where devs can't or won't say anything until the contract and QA has passed.
Honestly I wish devs could be more open about their intentions, it makes it much easier to wait if you know they game it definitely being considered for a GOG release.
Depends on management but generally it's just A) easier, B) safer to not discuss those types of details with players. Meanwhile, any kind of sales related information is seen as extra sensitive. Especially because if you mention something, it will be seen as a Promise (TM).
Would like to buy it there.
