Can i turn the sealed tower into a base?

Once you've completely cleared it out, why not.

There's most likely a workbench nearby and if not, you can buid one outside to build the staircases to enter it.
After that all you may need is a portal to enter / exit it.
Disadvantage of that, you won't be unable to transfer some items; but then, eventually all you may do nearby is doing some farming anyway.


BTW, I haven't tested it yet, but perhaps it's possible to destroy some part of the walls after getting a stonecutter build?

If not, it'll make a great portal hub for sure. D

How are you building ON it? I can only attach things to the outside, like a portal on a balcony. Inside or on the roof it says a mystical force prevents it.

Yeah i found that out later. Still can probably make a ring around the top

I've build a small base on top of one. You cannot build on the floor/yard but you can build on top of the walls and extend outwards and use the roof as your yard.
