Add natural objects to decorate

I'm really losing my mind, I can't find anything on how you can add natural elements like bushes, small trees, rocks, cut logs and ivy on the walls.
There really is nothing in a vanilla world that can help you spawn these elements to decorate, I see endless videos of people with crazy constructions that are made even crazier by these natural elements, but what are the commands how do you open the console ? Can it be done in vanilla or do you necessarily need mods?

you can do it with console commands, put you cannot rotate it and it will be always in the same direction. your best option is with mods, infinity hammer, server devcommands (it has some beneeficts even if not on a server), console commands. also plant everything if you want just the plants

Bushes can't be planted which is by design according to the devs. You can plant trees using a cultivator and tree seeds but they will grow into full sized trees unless you plant them too close together in which case they will remain saplings.

In the misc tab of your hammer you can add stacks of wood and cairns of rocks and at certain times of the year you can build a May pole or a yule tree, but usually if you want natural elements you have to locate them and build around them to incorporate them into your designs or you have to use mods of dev commands to spawn them.
