play valheim using vulkan?
what does this do?

Use the Vulkan Graphics Library instead of whatever is normal for your system (OpenGL or DirectX). Can give a bit of a performance boost but can also be somewhat unstable for some users.

my friends and i all use vulkan with both amd and nvidia gpu setups and the game runs better and we've never had any stability issues to speak of.

For me vulkan or normal makes no difference...

Check your FPS with and without using Vulkan, mine increases when using it.
