Depends on the materials you have. You can make the spice rack and need the first 2 vegetables (carrots and turnips) + all flowers and red mushrooms, then a butcher table with silver and ancient wood and then pots and pans with black metal (among other stuff needed).

yeah you need to kill moder to make a whatever station to craft balst furnace which can only smelt black iron, you need like 5 black iron to make pots and pans. But tbh dont make bread 10 flour for 2 25 minutes 80 stamina? ♥♥♥♥ that Imma go eat my belowed onion soup

You can use flour for bread. Barley is easy to plant (and easier to harvest) you just need a large enough cultivated area in the plains.

I plant barley 200 at a time which takes me about 5 minutes and then when its grown I quick harvest it with the aetgir. I fill up 4 windmills and I'm good to go the next time I'm back at base.

You can eat onion soup and bread together. Having 2 stamina foods that only need a grown resource is pretty cheap way to up your stamina focused chars. My archer did that for many hours of the game and still ate bread up until the Queen fight. If you like a tanky playstyle more, bread is also nicer because it adds 2 hp/tick instead of the 1 of onion soup, while also only needing 5 plots per meal instead of 6.

Barely has twice the positive yield of vegetable rotation (+1 instead of +0.5 for 4 plot rotation) and you can get tons of it just from raiding and as pointed out by knighttemplar1960 you can also harvest it much much faster (but of course needs two extra steps after that for anything but blood pudding). It is pretty cheap imo.
