Debugmode ? not working ?

whats the command after devcommands ? i cant spawn woods seems like i need debug mode ? but its not working youtube video are outdated. its activated has dev commands but after that i cant do anything

does pressing f5 work?
i've noticed that if i open my game from my taskbar shortcut i get this problem. closing and reopening from steam or desktop short cut fixes it.
try validating files. if you have mods turn them off.

yeah i open the commands menu but after i do "Devcommands" its activated but the debug one doesn't work maybe im missing something but ill be suprise if i do .... seems to be so simple online on youtube but when u do it it just doesn't work so simple

just troubleshooting. did you type "debugmode" (with out the quotes ofc)? does anything happen after that or just nothing? and what game mode are you in? bc iirc, debugmode doesn't work if you're in hammer mode.

Did you type debug or debugmode. The command is debugmode. But you don't need it to spawn things.
Are you running a server? Devcommands don't work on servers without admin mods.

i have my own Server yes and yes when i do Devcommands its working then i type "debugmode" and its saying the context doesn't exist

i have my own Server yes and yes when i do Devcommands its working then i type "debugmode" and its saying the context doesn't exist

"My own server" like dedicated server or you just check "start server" box when you are starting the world locally?

On dedicated servers you need to install serverdevcommands mod to be able to use devcommands.
In local server (when you check "start server" box) devcommands should work normally.

thats the thing devcommands is activated but i cant spawn wood or mats

In that case you need serverdevcommands mod. Search thunderstore.io for this mod Server_devcommands by JereKuusela. Install it and upload it to the server. It's not easy and you will need some time to get it right for the first time.

You can enable devcommands on the server without mods, but the list of commands you can use is very limited.
