On gportal Basic settings tab, all the way on the bottom you will find Valheim mods. Chose Bepinex and server will create all the folders you will need to upload mods.
Download mods manually or using mod manager on your PC and start the game in order to create config files. Once config files are created, you will be able to tweak mods (if needed).
Now when you have all plugins and configs ready, you can upload them on the server.
For uploading mods you will need an app to connect directly to the server and browse server files. I use WinSCP. All the data you need to connect to the server can be found on gPortal - status tab.
When you finally connect and see server files, just drag and drop mods plugins and configs to their folders on the server.
Disconnect and restart the server.
And you are ready to go.
As for the mods, go to Thunderstore or Nexus mods and see which mods are the most popular. But be careful, adding a lot of mods to the game will break the balance and you will spend a lot of time tweaking configs to bring it back.

manager.
You can share your profile code with others and when they are making a profile on mod manager, by using the code they will get the same mods and configs as you.
