Weird guy in the plains?
I play on casual and running through the plains ive encountered this shadowy humanoid figure with glowing cyan(?) eyes staring at me from a distance.
When I try to get close they poof away the same way the ravens do. I think I only encountered them at night & early morning so far...

Is this person a special event npc? or a spooky lil' fun thing?
...Is Odin stalking me? In person?

Sorry to hear that... So that is Odin's reaper and you have been wasting to much time. They keep showing five times to warn you to go faster and build less. The sixth time it attacks and one shots you. Better hurry if you don't want to feel Odin's wrath.

Yes, that's Odin, and no, he doesn't hunt you (thou he does seem to stalk you).

Thor, on the other hand..... Yes, Thor is in-game, to.... Watch for him during storms. He appears as a ball of lightning.

yea don't listen to this guy.

Its just Odin come to check in on you, See if you doing alright....

I'm surprised the first you saw him was in the plains tho. I'm not sure when his spawning rules are, might be after a certain boss tho. Usually I see him in Meadows or black forest tho, while traveling.

Yea, whatever you do, don't listen to this guy. He is trying to get you to let your guard down so he can hear a funny story about a body run.

There is only one way to not get killed if it is number six. Put your weapons away, take all armor off to move faster, and run as fast as long as you can into the Black Forest. People have said you can lose him in the trees if you have enough stamina. Good luck with it and come back and let us know how it goes.

Seen him many times. He lasts long enough for me to call out "Hey Odin" and then disapears.

OK icty is wrong. DONT TRUST ICTY! I've seen stuff about Odin. He is a peaceful entity
