Command to disable weather effects
Like rain, fog, and thunderstorm?
I've been killed by a lox in 2 hits in the back, it spawned suddenly, I havent seen it, now my corpse is in front of a pack of 4 loxes, right under their noses.
It seems I cant get my stuff back, I cant sneak - they see me, and I cant kill - frostner does very little damage, while lox kills me in 2 hits, my armor is Padded fully upgraded.
I want my stuff back but the FOG is so THICC I cant see literally anything.
I just cant see things in front of me, and I dont want to wait until it clears.
I'm getting my stuff back and I never ever launch this game again, I swear.

use bonemass skill, should have it by the time you run into plains

I hit lox 3 times with fully upgraded frostner and its hp decreased just slightly.
Im not fighting it, it kills me in 2 hits, this is broken.
I want to disable weather so I can actually see the surroundings.

If only there were some type of weapon that would shoot from a distance.. just can't think of any right now.

My draugr fang is on my corpse. Im not making another one then upgrading to full, then fighting loxes to get my corpse back. This is too much, excuse me, my time has value to me.

Manage the world settings and turn everything down to peaceful and damage to minimal. Weather will still be there, but at least nothing will attack and if it does, it'll just tickle.

My damage settings are at default, I barely do any, while mobs kill me in 2 hits while I have best and fully upgraded armor and food.
This is broken.

You aren't paying attention to resistances. Frostner is not a good weapon to melee a lox with... actually not sure there *is* a good weapon to melee a lox with.. that's just asking for it.

Also, weather effects aren't of the "It's raining in Valheim" sort - you are playing with default settings, you have portals, go somewhere else when the weather is bad. Fog in Plains is not a good time for adventuring.

Im not adventuring.
Im trying to get my hard-earned stuff back after the game stabbed me in the back by spawning a lox that wasnt there a second ago.

After enabling devcommands you can type "env clear" in the console (no quotes) to clear the weather.

Is this your first character? If not you can log in with another go to where the lox are corpse guarding you, get their attention and then sprint away making sure that they follow your alt. when they are far enough away log out and then log back in on your other character and go get your stuff.

If you don't have an alt you can always ask someone to help you recover your gear.

Don't use cheats, It's a slippery road for the next time you're stuck you'll use them again. I've got nearly 2k hours in this game and I've never used a Dev Command yet, why play games if you're going to cheat?.

Why play a game if you're not having fun? In another topic you say the mistlands update caused you to stop playing. I found the mist density too much and made it unplayable for me. I removed the mist and now I am enjoying the mistlands. If it's not a competitive game do whatever you like to make the game fun. And, I was just answering the OP's question.

Totally. Using console commands is no different to using mods and in some cases players using the console commands has led to dev changes and additions additions to the vanilla game. There is no moral value attached to changing how a single player game is experienced, nor are single player and co-op worlds somehow less for using mods to make some things easier. People have varying abilities, available time, and personal challenge approaches to games. The OP asked how to remove the mist in any case.

I'm visually impaired. I can barely navigate mistlands and survive solo. Its 10 times more annoying than swamps. That's not fun. I have to either modify the game since there are no provisions for accessibility or play co-op which isn't always an option.

Mistlands without the mist looks fantastic. I wonder why the devs spent all the time making the art for something that is going to be covered with mist and never seen.

I think Mistlands look fine from where I'm standing.
