Are you able to breed fish?

Wondering if it's possible to set up a small pond for angler fish in my base.

No. You can catch them and put them in a pond that you dig in your base but you can't breed them.

I know you can take one and let it go in another water body. But, I don't think they breed.

They wont breed, but you absolutely can make a nice decorative fish pond.
