bat proof chimneys

so a bat killed all the chickens when we werent looking, i guess it never despawned after an event my friend got and it eventually found its way in there. Is it possible to have enough of an opening to vent smoke but not allow a bat through? Right now i just have doors i can close if another one were to happen.

my design useing braziers. its fully enclosed with 2 layers of metal walls and has double iron doors to enter on each end. thus nothing ever gets in or ot. the hole on the central pillar above is for the eggs to fall down from the tower on the roof which is also fully enclosed.

-Simple protected chimney for coop idea i use, build a 5x5 box (the coop) with 1x1 chimney in the middle. first layer of chimney is the half walls, with large X pieces for 2nd layer and full wall 3rd layer. the spaces are enough room so you can refuel the campfire inside, and have never had bats get through.

Roof as desired to seal to the chimney, and build top of chimney as usual to protect against rain. even if a bat somehow enters the chimney it can only fly into the fire.
