Swamp key missed

Hi
I'm playing Valheim for a first time.
I've defeated the Elder, took trophy and went away. I wasn't aware that I should took anything else. Now I'm unable to enter those Sunken Crypts. I can't find the key, because I've killed the Elder somewhere in the forest and it's impossible to tell exactly where.
I think devs should do something to prevent this from happening.

Summon him again and kill for the key and head for the wall decoration.

ya just kill him again. it is good to have a couple keys anyways.

You can build a chair right next to a dungeon and enter it that way ;)

And then you do it slightly wrong and you get stuck, good advice.

The mistake I made with the first time against the Elder was leaving the auto-pickup on (v key). Finished the battle, elated that I had managed to do, returned to base, emptied my back pack and...no swamp key. Headed back, no key to be found. Second go around wasn't as bad as I had a much better idea of how to take the Elder out, with auto-pickup off.

I had the troll ground shaking attack knock out one of my bases where the key was in a chest. Before I could get back (no teleporter), the key despawned. So I had to kill the Elder a second time. Not a problem in the long run. Interestingly, the Elder has changed locations to a site near the mistlands. I have a temporary base underneath it for staging.
