the silver sword does spirit dmg. not frost. the mistwalker does frost slash AND small amount of spirit dmg. it does alot more dmg overall.
and the mistwalker also disperses the mist around it passively even when not drawn.
Very true. The quasi lateral move when getting to a new tier is a bit frustrating.
I like to think of it as "well if I die and lose my silver armor I have my fully upgraded iron as a spare to get it back".
Right having a backup set that is almost as good as your current set is not a terrible thing.
