Sap Extractor
I don't want to harm the neutral dwarves in the Mistlands, but I want to extract sap to progress in the zone. I looked on the Wiki and it says, "The crate can be safely damaged indirectly, or by non-player sources, without angering the Dvergr." Does anyone know how to do this? I saw a video months ago about taking a cart and ramming it into their crates, but I don't know if this works or how to safely do this. I'm not worried that I can't fight them, I just really, really don't want to.

indirect damage = something like a tree falling and hitting it

carts hitting it should work.

Seeker soldier is ideal rather than the gjall, which will obliterate the tower. coincidentally had both turn up at a tower earlier and the crates contents disappeared into thin air (which is the second time that's happened).

The cart does work but if you also want to make the tower yours by destroying the ward it takes a lot of work.

If you go to the tower during a thunder storm you can draw the Gjall to the tower then get out of there once the Dveger try to take it down. The commotion this causes usually draws in other mobs.

If you just want normal mobs go to the tower in daylight and start bashing the ground near the tower with stagbreaker but do not hit the Dveger.

Totally understand! do it from the shadows or "indirectly" just like how the sinister leaders of this world do it.....

Unfortunately you need to extract sap before you get one of them.

Tell them to pick a side or stay out of your way.
