Click-drag items doesn't work for left-handed mouse setup

As title says, as a left handed player, I'm no longer able to click / drag items in my inventory and / or from / towards any container like I used to do before the latest update(s).

I'm currently using a work around by splitting the stack, moving the splitted stack to the spot in the chest or inventory I'd like to have it; then use [ctrl]+click to move the rest to the same spot.

Still, does anyone know another solution to have the "old way" back, without using a mod?
Can't use that as I'm also playing at a dedicated server with friends.
Which also means, reverting to an older version of Valheim won't work.

Additional: NO, I am NOT going to set up my mouse to be used as a right handed player. Mouse buttons and their use should be set for both kinds of player by default.

(im ambi so i feel for ya!) but how easy would right click pickup-drag be.... or right click move to empty inv or storage spot !!!

Easy enough if it works.

But click-drag doesn't work. Instead, items are placed in the item slots first, then move to the bottom line of the inventory and start filling those up.

I've resetted the standard settings and did verify the game files; still to no avail.
So I can only assume the latest update broke things when it comes to this.

Go to the side menu in your library, select betas and default_old. That will put it back to before the update.

I did this for my mods, but I'm definitely not switching back until the lefty mouse problem is fixed.

Added: They said they fixed it on the test server, so it should be on live soon.

OP said they play on server so no roll back, btw have the same problem

How have they not fixed this yet... I sometimes got 3 updates a day for Valheim but when they botch the game for left handed players they do nothing for weeks?????

Have you been using mods in the past? Try resetting registry to default:

1. Click on Windows start and type `regedit` or `registry editor`.
2. Manually navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\IronGate\Valheim.
3. Delete this Valheim folder[i.imgur.com] in the registry.
4. Launch the game.
