Auto pickup not working

Hi all , I haven't played in a long time and started a new world today. My issue is that the auto-pickup of items doesn't work anymore. For example when you harvest berries. I have to E to get them loose , but when I walk over them my character doesn't pick them up. Same thing when I chop down trees. My character doesn't pick it up when walking over it.
I checked in the game setting for a new setting that might have come for this , but I don't find anything. Can someone help me what the issue might be ?

My mods list :

Configuration Manager

ita a keypress toggle on off.. easy to press by mistake..check your config in game setting

Best to change the default keybind if you find yourself continuing to toggle, as I did.

The default keybinding to toggle auto-pickup is "V", in case anyone finds that information useful.
