Do you use a Mod Manager like Vortex, Thunderstore, or r2modman?

You can safely purge your entire Valheim installation folder by going to:
Library. Right click on Valheim, hover over the "Manage" selection, click on browse local files. Delete everything inside this folder.

Now you'll need to verify installation to get fresh files.

Navigate back to the Library if you weren't still there. Right click on Valheim, this time click on properties. Local Files. Verify Integrity.

Where are the savefiles stored? (I have not enabled cloud saving.)

Not in the installation folder, which is why I said you can safely purge the installation folder.

I use Thunderstore. Only mod installed is BepinEx. Game cannot be loaded after yesterday's update. I have tried to disable BepinEx using Thunderstore, but that did not help. Then I deleted both Thunderstore and BepinEx, and the game completed loading and I could continue playing my old savefile.

If using THunderstore, you can choose to play the game without mods by clicking "Start Vanilla" instead of "Start Modded." It will not load any mods.

To answer your question, though, you can open your profile, click the "Settings" tab, and then click the "Browse Profile Folder" to go to your Mods file location.
