console commands not working...

Hey, i hope somebody can help me.
I want to try console commands but i can´t open the console with F5. I put "-console" into the proberties in the Steam library but it dosen´t work at all. I hope somebody got a solution for me...

Did you type "-console" with or without the quotes?
Try it without the quotes, it works much better.

1. Make sure it's -console (no quotes)
2. Once in game, hit F5
3. Type in devcommands, hit enter
4. Type in debugmode, hit enter

Your debug/devcommands should now be working.

They will NOT work if you're playing on someone else's server or a hosted dedicated server.

I just solved the problem... I have to press F5 while holding the FN button on my keyboard.

Sounds like you have Fn-Lock turned on. Fn+Esc is usually the key combination to toggle that feature on/off.

if its a laptop, many default fn lock to be on
check bios settings to set f keys to be f keys be default not media/display keys
