About Ground Fog
Why have they gone ground-fog happy? The stuff is everywhere. Here i'm trying to plant in my protected enclave, but I can't see the ground.

:/ I'll try to not lower the ground when loking for a spot to build now, seems pretty inevitable at times.

A couple camp fires may help you out.

Unfortunately, they don't seem to have any affect on fog (ground fog, normal fog, Mistlands mist, or whatever).

Fog is a common thing in Scandinavia

Clear nights sometimes make it the worst, the ultra-high reflective quality of the fog is like polished metal. You may want to experiment with lighting, move some torches, braziers, camp fires, etc about and maybe find a sweet spot. Which tbh, gives me the idea to test it a little. It can be pesky. If I have a good chance and I remember, I play about with it some.

same problem here... i usualy use mine from copper deposit to make farm for carrot/turnip/onion but it's so annoying because of "ground fog"... is there mod to remove ground fog?

I use them when mining copper and they work fine, I wonder what the difference is?

Reminded that the fog also interferes often with mining that makes holes in the ground. Actually, I haven't had this problem as much lately, now that I think about it.
