Valheim plus mod
Hi.
With all those new options in-game is it still compatible with Valheim plus mod ?
Since now I could choice X2 drop loot and portals without restrictions... No will the options with Plus are compatible

I heard the creator of V plus dropped the mod but someone else is going to continue the mod

Fix is six months old, there's "ValheimPlus Grantapher Temporary" which was apparently compiled for this version, but I'd seriously consider finding other mods to serve the functions you want. This feels like too many eggs in the basket.

Valheim Plus is a dead mod and also just stole code of other modders anyway.

Oh look, same date as the latest "Hildir update" patch release date, what a coincidence.

If you want others to use certain mods instead of certain different mods, you're doing it wrong. It's not like your word on some random forum topic would erase the 1 Million downloads Valheim Plus racked in since 2021.
Instead of saying "mod X is dead", spread knowledge about the mods "you'd consider finding".

Erm just by looking at the pic provided I don't think that's the same Mod.

Valeim Plus Fix (By Grantapaher) is NOT the original Valheim plus that I believe others were referencing.

So: Before you accuse others of not doing some research? May I recondite you do some research?

Oh look it's the exact "ValheimPlus Grantapher Temporary" version I referenced in the post you quoted. Yes, some people are doing the lord's work and scrambling to keep the thing updated but it does not have an active developer these days.

Despite that, you're telling us to search for alternatives. So either you know there are other mods that provide roughly the same functionality as Valheim plus, in which case, I'm telling you to name them.

Or you don't know anything and you're telling us to search for something that doesn't exist. In which case, stop wasting our time.

Dude, it's a compilation. Just scanning through the list at least half of these features have existed as individual mods for years. Hell some of them are vanilla options now.

Use Grantapher's fix as you like, I'm not the cops. Just be aware it is not under active development and you'll be losing all your mods in one package deal if no-one can fix it after a game update.

I don't care if it's one simple mod or a compilation.
I don't care if some features from the mod/compilation are now part of the base game.
I don't care if the mod's original authors aren't developing the mod anymore.
I don't care if the mod has some alternatives.
I don't care if some alternative I never heard about has LESS features.
And I don't even care if someone "stole" something, as #5 reply suggested.

Three things are important to end user:
Does the feature I want exist?
Does the mod with that feature work on current patch?
Can I disable other features I don't want?

"Valheim Plus fix" - aka. "ValheimPlus Grantapher Temporary" - answers YES to those three questions. That's what matters to the end user.

We're still waiting for those "individual mod" recommendations.

Yeah those are the three things that matter to you. With early access games I'm also interested in whether a mod is likely to exist for a few more game updates. I get that this is invalid to you and I'm not allowed to comment on it, but I already did so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Let's see. Valheim Plus existed since Feb 2021.
Two weeks ago, we just got a game version update.
Valheim Plus Fix got an update on the same day.

Based on that, your concern about a mod lasting for future game updates should be satisfied, right?
Despite that, we should be looking for alternatives. I hope you can see why what you're saying doesn't make any sense.
