What the Devs missed was the fact that folks DO like the co op and defo DO WANT to stay yon the same world and DO want to add friends after they have played a bit. In all those scenarios a reset toggle on certain areas would be very useful indeed.
If nothing else it would add to the games replayabilty and popularity as more folks could play a world then customise it as server hosts for a fresh batch of players to go through customised areas and buildings
