Swamp Boss Rune

Ok So my friend and I are working towards the 3rd boss the swamp one and I understand the rune to show the location is located in the swamp biomes but my question is this are the runes for this in all swamp zones or just random as I explored the entire swamp zone I just found and the only runes I found didn't show any new boss locations they just seemed to be telling about the things there but no boss.

I did find a stone tower in this one but again no rune around the tower that I could see of even at the top.

The runes should all mark a boss location - however i think it just marks the closest one so if you find 5 runes in one swamp - they'll most likely mark just one boss spot - sail to a further swamp and runes there might mark another or the same depending how close the next boss location is.
But you're not looking for Rune Stones that are about your height - you're looking for the small rune markers that have a glowing symbol on them - and those are located in crypts only that i know - so if it's telling you about the area/creatures - those aren't the boss markers
also on the map you can right click on the different map keys and it will stop showing those so you can remove all markers except boss marker and see what you've marked easier

Right but are these smaller runes in ALL swamps as I can't find hide nor hair of one in the swamp I have explored neither can my friend so far.

not in all swamps - only in swamps with a buried crypt - and not all crypts have them - maybe just the larger crypts i don't know. I see them now maybe a 3rd of the time - or sometimes two markers to a crypt

i've only found them in the crypts and at the boss altar itself

sometimes on the tower which has some bodypile in swamps

As others have said they are usually found inside crypts, although every crypt will not have a stone. Sounds like you are finding standing lore stones.

Just wait until you start searching for Yagluth!

They are most commonly found inside the crypts in the swamps when you mine the muddy scrap piles for scrap iron. They are also occasionally found on the ruined circular (rather than square) towers (very rare) that are in some swamps.

must have been one of those rare ones I saw in the video but this morning my friend and I hit our first crypt and he did finally find one in there so we'll look more in those for them in this case.

yeah thats where I thought they were so when mine didn't have I wasn't sure if in all swamps or some or in other locations around the swamp but we did finally find one in the crypt!

https://valheim-map.world/ if you put your seed in this map you can use it to speed up game play shows boss locations lore stone locations or boss stone locations so you can choose your level of cheese or not use it at all if your going for a more hardcore experience best of luck fellow viking

No don't want to use that but was just curious being I could not find it top side that's what got me confused being the video I watches the guy found his topside so.......
