[EDIT] One mod I don't see suggested above is "SpeedyPaths". It allows you to specify faster (or slower) speed and slower (or faster) stamina consumption for different biomes and/or roads. Without this mod, making paths and roads is cosmetic only, which never made any sense to me.
Yes, Valheim Plus is still working, as I run a server that uses it. The people developing it are slow to update, so someone else has taken it upon himself to make an unofficial update, which he does usually within 24 hours (but not always). It's great.
I use Valheim Plus along with a two or three other mods. If you have a problem with mods not working well with others, then stop using so many at once.
That listing for it no longer works but there is a newer version of it that does work by Gantapher.
I am aware. Valheim Plus is superior, because of how many tweaks and changes it offers for just one mod.
Thank you.
I really don't understand why you would claim having one mods is better than having several. If I have three mods and one gets broken with an update, I can simply disable that mod and keep the others running until there's a fix. If I have one mod that covers everything and it breaks, I can't disable part of that mod and still use the other features.
Add onto that bit of common sense what I said earlier--many popular mods will not run if you have Valheim Plus. You're therefore limiting yourself even further.
You keep thinking that Valheim Plus is deficient. In the meantime, it gets updated much faster than you keep claiming, while the utility it offers is inherently superior.
Keep arguing for the sake of arguing, but you will do it by yourself.
Good day.
To the OP and anyone else looking to get into modding, I sincerely urge you to keep in mind that Valheim Plus will limit your options for including other mods (many of which are mentioned in this thread). If you'd like specific functionality from a part of Valheim Plus, it's quite likely something another mod will be able to provide you.
If you already use Valheim Plus and want to get away from it for the reasons I've laid out, there's a good list of Mods to replace those functions on AzuMatt's Github[github.com].
